Curry Flavored Popcorn

Ingredients: 

  • 2 teaspoon oil,
  • 120 gms popping corn,
  • Curry flavour,
  • 2 teaspoon curry powder,
  • 2 teaspoon turmeric,
  • 2 tablespoon yogurt,
  • 1 tablespoon garlic paste,
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice,
  • 2 tablespoon chopped herbs.

Preparation: 

  • To prepare curry flavoring, combine curry powder, garlic paste, turmeric, lemon juice in a saucepan.
  • Cook over gentle flame for 1 minute.
  • Stir in yoghurt to the above.
  • Set aside and keep warm.
  • In a large-heavy bottomed pan, heat oil.
  • Add corn to the oil and cover.
  • Cooker for 2-3 minutes till the corn pops.
  • Combine with curry flavoring and serve immediately.
